Yes, it's more difficult to handle technically, but there might be a PERMUTATION on the idea which can give SPP rewards for delegating to BOTH SteemPLus AND SteemHunt - that is, a little extra SPP for those of us delegating to SteemHunt also. Just thinking out loud...
