Now reviewing the current activities in this platform shows that participants are gradually changing the rules in the original white paper of steemit. If things like communities, discords and other centralized groups could be created it show that the platform is heading from decentralized to centralized platform which is not favorable to our minnows. Though steemians need more communication and that is why steemit chat was created which contains few feature as it was only made for chatting, though many people are not making use of it.

Some discord groups only accept those from their own nationality, most people have created their own communities called incubators where they contribute and buy SP used to upvote each other.

Creation of all this communities and discord has lead to having dead followers, Steamians that have up to 1000 followers are suppose to have at least 100 up votes after dropping their post, sadly we found out that most of our up votes comes from the community where we belong not from followers because most of them now focus on the groups where they belong for up vote and comment as a result they hardly check their feeds.

HUDDLING AND HUSTLING FOR UP VOTES
Marketers some times huddle a kind of product and tell buyers that it is scares and later will bring it out and start selling at higher price. Seemingly steemit platform is heading towards that direction which is contrary to the original white paper of this platform.

In steemit if someone upvotes a post in effect the person is investing because as seven days the post was dropped the person will receive a curation reward, some with higher SP have decided not to write post any more because their curation reward is enough.

Those who have lasted long in this platform with higher SP are suppose to use it to encourage minnows to see the sustainability of this platform and to widen our horizon but most of them has turn to becomes bots and they will ask minnows to send some sbd or steem before they will release their upvotes in effect they are now receiving double curation reward.

ADVANTAGES OF VOTING BOTS

Voting bots help minnows to get visibility, as a result helping them to get attention for their posts. If they write a quality post they will have more people following them but if the quality is not there then they won’t go far. Since most voting bots are collecting STEEM, this has lead to people buying and making good use of STEEM as a means of transaction in this platform and this has contributed to the growth of steem and our platform on the whole.

DISADVANTAGES OF VOTING BOTS

Bot does not check the quality of peoples post as it voting is done automatically and this has given rise to having poor contents and people don't care about writing a quality post. Steemit is not only about the money but it is about the knowledge, so tell me how can we benefit if we don't have quality post in this platform.

Voting bots may overflow in a site and therefore reduce human interaction, they are automated as a result may change a site to be such. Most bot that upvote after 30min take most of the reward.

Most voting bots do not refund money if there is a mistake in transaction. most times after sending SBD to bot the author reward will not be equal to the amount sent due to lower vote amount given by bots, and more people with lower upvotes will try to upvote a particular post.

Despite those with higher upvote converting themselves to bots, I will not fail to mention those who have used their upvotes without charge to support minnows @curie @stach @mustard @steemstem @onequality @surpassinggoogle @dragonslayer109 @hendrikdegrote and hr1 continue doing the good work.

Increase your interaction with people which can help you to gain more popularity but still you can use bots a little but you can’t gain more it is certain. Bots are collecting a lot of money from us and making huge profit so i think we should minimize how we use them.
