I do agree with @steemmaster that Mint is the way to go. I have been able to get 3 computers to work without issue with Mint; Ubuntu had trouble recognizing hardware. It's amazing how powerful some of the open source applications.

Windows is a gypsy software, was using this cheecky os, again, for few weeks and I remaind myself what is microsoft.
