It happens sometimes, but SteemData will usually catch up at some point. Nothing we can do in our end, sadly. We might switch to SteemSQL though.

Just moved one of my tools to steemsql for the same reason. It seems that the upvote (and other) data isn't being synced correctly on steemdata.
