Promoting Steemit to the Arab World - Facebook Ads Updates - Jan 25 2018

Introduction

As we continue our efforts to promote steemit to the Arab World, today we present you with another update after extending our facebook promotion till end of the month.(Check last update here 5 days ago)
We are running this sponsored facebook ad promotion through our arabsteem facebook page and have been pretty excited with the outcome, which we believe will yield great results to both steemit and the Arab community.

Audience

As the purpose is to raise awareness in the Arab World regarding steemit, our promotion is essentially targeting Facebook Arab World users. In details, the running campaign targets the following countries:
United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco and Saudi Arabia
And particularly people with interests in blogging, crypto, bitcoin, facebook, and communities, regardless of their gender or age group.

Activity

As of today, the promotion has been running for 24 days. It was originally planned for a little over 2 weeks, but due to its great results, we decided to further extend it till the end of the month. The promotion invites people to join steemit as a social network that helps people earn money via creating and curating content. The campaign link directs viewers directly to steemit.com, and the official ad can be found here

Results

Today's stats are a major increase over last time, with growth of over 18k impressions, whereby the total number of impressions is very close to 80k, standing now at 76,702 Impressions (compared to 58,623 Impressions on last update). We should hopefully reach around 100k by end of this campaign.
In terms of actions on the ad itself, we had also another surge in actions, whereby we are now at 729 actions, out of which are 672 clicks leading to steemit.com directly (compared to 546 clicks actions / 502 clicks on last update).

In terms of demographics, female interest got even lower on this update, standing at 21% on actual links clicks (down from 23% on the last update)



In terms of countries, Algeria maintains its leading stance at 96.6% (dropped from 96.8% last time), and we had a sudden rise of interest from Iraq, which took over Morocco as the runner up in number of clicks, with Morocco and Egypt trailing behind.

We certainly are pleased with the results, and do believe that the campaign and those results reflect positively on steemit, its growth, and its adoption globally.
