Components
steemgigs is a web or app where promoting talents and skills. users will get a big upvote from mr. terry ( @surpassinggoogle ) and good response from fellow users if it provides useful and top quality posts.
Proposal
I would like to submit feedback or ideas for the steemgigs feature, currently steemgigs provides a post page that is too long by having to enter some terms to continue post writing, I think this is a constraint for users when want to write post.
maybe I think, users will like the terms of easy and instant.
by providing the form in one page without being transferred to another page will resolve the user's complaint.
Currently steemgigs provides post page form with do the behavior proceed,
- The first form requested is to add a title, choose a category, fill in the tags.
- the second form in request fill out the explanation
- the third form is asked to fill out the price explanation
- the fourth form is required to fill the requirements.
- the fifth form is required to fill the Portfolio
can just do publish post.

I suggest a future steemgigs feature like the utopian.oi look, so users are easier to post in one form.

Benefits
I think the user will take some time while posting on steemgigs, by providing one page, the user can finish quickly and do not feel over time.

i agree that all components can be placed in one page, but the current state is already okay for me.i like that there's a preview of the content at the end so I hope that can be kept as is.
however, there are still some snags and bugs here and there so i hope the devs are working on those
rest assured all the suggestions are being taken cared of by terry. i believe he is welcome to that
thanks for your support, i am also sure mr. Terry will develop the best for steemgigs user
Your husband is with us, so we are calmer
Well said!
I trust @surpassinggoogle, the proposal will be looked into and the needful shall be done
thanks for your support @avowal
Thought of that from the onset. Some of the other editors will go on to look like the utopian one but for the main gig editor, we did want it to have constraints to experiment and see if it can reduce the need for too much manual curation, where the editor solves 70 percent of the issue with great content. so tweaks will come overtime. The editor is quite easy to use. The major constraint currently is that the hints suggestions come at the very end, which wasnt the case before. We will have to revert that. To where each editor segment gives you a hint on what to do to progress to the next part. Ultimately, we wanted each segment to have a minimum character limit, so that content can come out more content-filled for each segment. The flow is just simple. On each segment, if minimum character limit is not met, suggest action on the spot, before it is possible to go on the next segment, instead of getting all the way to a preview before being told to go all the way back. Thank you for your suggestion. @jalasem will take note
We'll look into this. However, we could have done that, the reason behind not showing error at the first instance was because we felt a new user, for instance, should be given the opportunity to see what all field and editor pages looks like before proceeding. Let's know if we should still prevent them from going to the next step when they dont meet the criterias @surpassinggoogle
We are making a push today, so if yes, we can push that together with it
Yes, i get. This limitation is quite easy to bear. The hint will only pop up if they haven't met the minimum character count else it wont show, just like before. in many cases, they will pass that test, without any hint showing.
hopefully my suggestion is also one of the willingness of other users, I am very grateful for your response @surpassinggoogle.
and I hope steemgigs is one of the people's choice alternatives to appreciate their talents and skills.
and thanks @jalasem for your response
I have already tried posting a gig on steemgigs. I guess the template is A-okay for a newbie like me - feeling like I would only “fill in the blanks”. But having it all in one page is a welcome suggestion. All for the best of @steemgigs.
@juand I agree with you but at the same time I believe good things take time so @steemgigs will also update as a new its excellent for me.

While your idea is a good one, but you failed to outlined how to technically have the steemgigs in one form with all the elements that are needed in the Steemgig forms requirement. Posting a sample of what Utopian does cannot be transferred immediately. You need to work out the details of how those 4 different forms can be put inside the one form.
