Phalcon is an open-source PHP framework based on the model–view–controller (MVC) pattern. It was implemented as a web server extension and was developed using Zephir and C. The framework's goal is to provide high-performance executions, less resource dependence, and improved capacity on handling multiple requests. Phalcon was created by Andrés Gutiérrez and collaborators; it was first drafted as "Spark" in 2011. Later on, it was then coined as "Phalcon" as a combination of the words "PHP" and "falcon".

I decided to contribute to this project to expand my translation works especially on web development frameworks. Considering the usefulness of Phalcon, the contributions for localization increase the capability of this framework to be learned, implemented, or improved by different users with ease. I am also aiming for the continuous development of this project's documentation.
