Steemit is a social media/networking website on steem blockchain. It pays users for posting, discorvering and commenting on interesting contents. Here i have a few reasons why the "add profile picture" and "add cover image" features should be used instead of the "profile picture url" and "add cover image" to create an avenue where a user can add more photos.
Proposal
The steemit community keeps increasing with new members signing up daily all over the world. These members find it a great challenge getting the URL of their profile picture. I propose that the developers of steemit replace the "picture profile link" with "add profile picture" and "add cover image" features where a user clicks on any of this options and he/she is taken to gallery directly. There they can select and make a choice because i think its a long process going to get picture links for your profile pictures.
Also create an avenue where a user can add more photos. This will give a user an option to decide what images and how many he/she would want to add among the list of his/her pictures.

Benefits
The steemit community is adding more numbers daily with a very large number already registered. Making it easy for users and community members will not only make users smile but increase the fun members are having at the moment.

- It will reduce the stress users go through searching for link to their pictures online.
