English-Croatian Traslation and a Review for Busy.org

Getting paid for doing translation was never easier or more accessible. Help the community and earn in the process! Translating for busy.org was a great opportunity for me. But what is it and why aren’t you doing a beer review, you ask?

I remember stumbling upon @busy.org profile months ago. I was eager to contribute to everything that seemed promising and I was right! I sent a tiny donation and I’m glad for it. This platform made it easier for us to post during all the lag issues with steemit.com lately. Same blockchain, different entry points. Maybe you can still donate if you want your name there!

If you haven’t already, check out their website - https://busy.org/ ! There are no fees for posting over their interface. If anything, they might even upvote you! You do need to supply your posting and/or transfer key but it all seemed as secure as it can get. You still have your master password securely at your side.

Translation and how-to

Easiest way to check if you could contribute is to find them over Discord, maybe contact @fabien, a cool dude, chatty! Check if your language is taken and register at crowdin.com, a handy translation hub. You get assigned to the project and the rest is a breeze.

I try to make my translations as sensible as possible to a new user. I keep to the original but I change tidbits if it promotes clarity and simplicity. Traditional dictionaries are fine but you might have a better shot with corpora comparison websites such as https://hr.glosbe.com/en/hr/feed . You’ll get much better matches for technical and computer related terms. It also supplies context. Good stuff! Hopefully there is one for your language.
