This tutorial is a blessing, I am a sound technician and I use Audacity to edit my recorded files. I always have issues with the editing because I am not that verse on the software but the tutorial meant a big deal for me. Thanks. And also I have a question about using Audacity to record, I want to ask if it is the best software to record when using your PC?
Thanks for visiting @olatun. Audacity is a great tool for recording and editing. There are many other tools that do more, but Audacity it free. It is a great place to start when exploring sound editing.
Over the coming days I will be posting several tutorials on how to use Audacity. Stay tuned and .f you have any questions please put them in the comments and I will try my best to find answers for you.
Thanks @frawstakwa Audacity has stayed pretty consistent over the year and through updates. Solid app. If you need any help poking at Audacity let me know?
Very nice. I use Pro Tools mostly myself but from time to time I use Audacity for quick edits.
Check out the Music Channel in the PAL discord. Some great stuff going on in there. I would like to hear some of your stuff.
Cheers,
Bucky
Hey, thanks for that, I’ll be sure to do so... I learned about #discord a while ago, joined, but haven’t had much time to get in the swing of things over there yet... I’ve been posting my music to #musicoin mainly these days, as well as #whoozl, and once I figure out what the #IPFS settings are I’ll begin to get busy on #dsound and #dtube as well... do you mind if I come back later to drop my musicoin link?

Very cool... I used to use Audacity a bit some years ago, wondering what their DAWs look like these days...
