Keybase (Windows Client): Taskbar Notifications Options

Components

This feature request relates directly to Keybase's notification section in the Windows Taskbar, and also to the configurable settings within the application.

Proposal

Keybase needs the ability to display (optional) popup notifications from within the Windows taskbar.

The available options should include:

• Private messages
• Follows
• KBFS File Activity
• Team Chat

There is support for this ONLY IF you click on the program from the taskbar, but if you do not manually check it regularly then you will not be alerted to new activity.

Benefits

There are numerous benefits to this enhancement, including:

• Removing the need to manually check Keybase.
• Easier to use the application more effectively.
• Mac already has similar functionality, but it's not done properly on Windows.
