Hi @berniesecretary, thanks for the contribution! I added you on Discord earlier this morning because I wanted to ask you why the GitHub repository is archived. We really want others to be able to contribute to projects submitted on Utopian.
A few things about the contribution itself:
- It's very unclear what is work done by you, and what is auto-generated (templates). In the future it would be best to separate these commits from each other.
- The commit messages are all the same. This makes it very difficult to see what was implemented in which commit. I would recommend checking out this guide.
- None of your code is properly indented which makes it unreadable. I would recommend you read about best practices for each respective programming language you use.
I suggest you check out this guide that was made by one of our moderators for tips on how to improve your development contributions.
Your contribution has been evaluated according to Utopian policies and guidelines, as well as a predefined set of questions pertaining to the category.

Thank you very much for your guidance. I am new here at the network and didn't know much of your guidelines. I really do appreciate and am very grateful for your guidance. I will implement all your recommendations and redo the project from scratch to log the commit messages and communicate context about a change to fellow developers.
This is my first WordPress theme and got too happy about the project, for a while I wanted to provide a free WordPress theme to Steemians, and when Blocktrades provided the widget. I rushed into the project so much that I wanted it to work flawlessly that I forgot to take notes of the trial and errors and provide the commit messages.
I also was skeptical of how other developers were going to react because of being a girl and thought that maybe I was going to be ignored.
Most of the males that I tell that I am interested in being a developer usually deviate the subject and I get very little feedback or guidance. I had that on my mind most of the time I was working on the theme and it got on my way.
Now that I know what guidelines are being used to review it, I will reapproach the project with more confidence.
Thank You
Eve
