USI Tech Status - London Event

in #usi-tech7 years ago (edited)

Here are the key items from USI Tech's London event.

  1. Website
The site has been updated to an Amazon Web Services (AWS) offering. There were initially reports of folks missing team members and BTC Packages. Things have slowly been rectified. People are reporting that it took time, but now resolved.

  2. Buy Bitcoin
Depending on the country you are in, you may be able to buy bitcoins directly from the USI Tech website using your credit card. This is the 3rd party who handles the process.

  3. Customer Service
USI Tech hired a new head of customer service - Daven Michaels. Now support is available 24/7 throughout the world at (702) 522-1640. Let's see if things improve because this has reportedly been a sore point with subscribers.

  4. ATMs
Other than eventually being distributed all over the world, USI Tech members will be able to lease or buy them. Other than buying bitcoins, the machine will also allow the user to set up an account with USI Tech. This will go under the member who leased it as a new referral.

  5. Exchange
USI Tech is working on incorporating a cryptocurrency exchange within the dashboard. Buy and sell cryptocurrencies. Looks like another way to grab fees.

  6. Transparency?
There are plans to eventually show their Forex and cryptocurrency trades via the back-office dashboard.
USI Tech is planning to participate in the Bitcoin Branded Mining Pool. Check this website in future:
blockchain.com and select Data/Charts then select Mining Information. Select the Hashrate Distribution pie chart.

So, it they really are mining bitcoin, they will show up in this pie chart if they are one of the major players. They are aiming to be able to mine 1% by mid 2017 December. This is huge. If I see them in this chart, this will be something legitimate that they are doing.
They are also planning to mine etherium. That would show up at this website:
etherscan.io and select Charts. Scroll to the bottom and select the Top Miners By Blocks Pie Chart.

They are aiming to mine 2.5% of the etherium hash power in the future.

  7. Evan Ahern
USI Tech has created a relationship with Evan Ahern. He is the new Head of Product Development. In charge of coming up with new products to bring in new income.

  8. Asymmetric Permanent Magnet Motor/Generator
Mr. Ahern is working on developing a power generator to reduce the cost of electricity. If this is successful, it will greatly reduce USI Tech's mining costs. Wait and see if it reaches production.

  9. Mining Heat (to Power), Ventilation & Cooling
Another Ahern idea. Working on using the heat from the mining equipment to generate power. Again, if it really works, will reduce costs.

So, two new businessmen joining the company. I would find it hard to believe they would join something that was not up to par in their eyes. If they did their due diligence before joining, then again, helps me believe things are real.

  1. USI Tech Coin
Launching their own cryptocurrency. One can purchase Tokens from within the dashboard which one can eventually convert to coins. Of issue for me here is that a large number of tokens are being made. 500 million for existing USI Tech members and eventually another 500 million will be sold during ICO. Also, they are not releasing the whitepaper until the ICO. I'd prefer to see what they are going to do (whitepaper) before investing.

Summary
There are many plans to be able to bring in more income through products, fees and innovation. The more of these that come to fruition, the more 'real' things will be (for me).
