U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo expressed on Tuesday through his Twitter account, to pronounce on the blockade by the Maduro regime on the border bridge of Tienditas, reiterating that the country desperately needs humanitarian aid.
"The Venezuelan people are in desperate need of humanitarian aid. The United States and other countries are trying to help, but the Venezuelan army under Maduro is blocking aid with trucks and tankers," he said.
The Secretary of State also stressed that "Maduro's regime must let aid reach the HAMBRIENTA people," the message ended with a representative label to indicate that the U.S. is with Venezuela. "We are united.
