Actress Ashley Judd said she survived harassment by American film producer Harvey Winston through an agreement to circumvent him.

Judd told him he was willing to submit to him only after winning an Oscar for one of his films. Afterward, Good said she fled his room at the hotel, which she arrived two decades ago, when she was a small actress, to share what she thought was a working meeting.

On Good Morning America, on Thursday, she said she was still not imaginative or absorbed in how she handled the confrontation. She felt shameful, but acknowledged that her sudden decision was wonderful.

Jod was the first of dozens of women who were harassed or sexually assaulted by Winston, who is currently facing an investigation into rape in London, New York and Los Angeles.
