Well well this is nice . Really nice. The struggle for whales and other folks with larger accounts must be how to find the gems amongst the unvotables. Somebody has got to develop a bot with AIto scour through the myriad of posts and bring some to human attention. It must be hard for steemit to lose some good ones that may become great ,if not supported. This is an excellent starting point with likely more work to be done in the future.
One idea may be to separate posts that are completely original and not a copy YouTube video or porn or a simple flower shot ( unless it's truly great art).
Even if a post has embedded video within original content, it should be discarded. Authors should be allowed to tag their work as original content thus narrowing the field of upvotables.
