I don’t know the uptime figures for X/Facebook or other platforms.
However, HIVE’s uptime can be estimated using head_block_number / current_aslot, which comes out to roughly 99.75%.
In practice, occasional missed blocks by witnesses don’t affect HIVE’s usability at all, so I believe the blockchain’s real-world availability can easily reach 99.99%. In fact, as far as I can remember, since the fork from STEEM, the HIVE blockchain has never experienced a full stall.
I dont know if it got higher or not
But on X,Facebook, or like other social media the terms for eligible is really hard to achieved. Then after eligible it still to maintain the eligible stats that really hard to do consistent especially for new player that from nobody.
Different to Web3 platform that everybody can see it and sometimes the feed is gives randomize algorithm feed so new player can be seen. But, if the feed algo going to same with other social media it will be hard for new player growing in here especially after seen the inflation on $HIVE.
Congratulations @steempty! You have completed the following achievement on the Hive blockchain And have been rewarded with New badge(s)

I thought Hive was built on a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) system. With very fast block generation, only 3 seconds, so far, it hasn't experienced any network outages or total shutdowns compared to Facebook and X.
Hive is superior because it's built on a censorship-resistant model and is always active because it's supported by witnesses from various regions. Since the Steem hard fork, I've noticed Hive running well without any significant network outages. Although I haven't found any clear uptime statistics, I think the Hive system is more robust than centralized media networks like Facebook and X...
In conclusion, Hive is more stable than other networks. This is also proven, based on my experience. In November 2025, the internet network in my area was down. I rely on ground-based internet from the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (KOMINFO). That internet network only has 10 Mbps with quite a lot of users, almost a whole village, but when I open the Hive page, it works just as well as when I open WhatsApp...
Hard to say... we could compare it to other blockchain and definitely it works better, faster and cheaper. X and other platforms aren't on the "level" Hive is... also it gives a better approach providing info, engaging people. Now...I would say I am happy to see you back here interacting with us. I hope you are well. feel free to text me whenever you want.

@steempty excellent broters and congratulations
A good question to consider at a time when many are focussed on reward / content and other things
Hello. I believe so. He is performing well. And he still has his whole career ahead of him. So let's move forward.
