The Help My Dog (Floppy) Fundraiser | Day 72 - $200.27 of $5,120.00 | Please Upvote This Post To Help My Family

Hey Everyone,
My dog Floppy had successful back surgery on Friday 12/22/17. He is in recovery now and he should be ok!

Unfortunately, these unexpected expenses have hit my family very hard and I am turning to the Steemit community in an effort to raise funds to pay for Flop's surgery. Every Upvote, Follow, Comment, and Resteem will help me out, and any straight donations would be straight up awesome!!! DAY 71 UPDATE

Thank you for helping me cross the $200 barrier! I wish it was going a bit better to be honest, but I'm enjoying myself, learning to be a better blogger, learning to be a better photographer, and building up my following, I'm over 600 now!

Flop's day was typical, no accidents in the house, no crazy jumping. Just a googd boy recovering from his surgery.

Our moring walk, still getting used to it being dark out...

He got his poo and pee done, and we went in quickly because it was cold. He got a beggin strip after, and still had time to try and get some of Lu's cereal. It was cocoa pebbles (chocolate), so he didn't get any. I played with Flop on the couch for a minute, put him back on the floor so he wouldnt jump, and took Lu to school.

Vanessa was working late again tonight, last night of the week, so I was on Luey duty and Flop duty lol. Vanessa is a school principal, so her job is pretty demanding. I got Lu settled down with Mickey & the Roadster Racers and walked Flop.

It was cold so after he sniffed around and peed, we went back in. We saw another dog so that speeded up the process...We'd never seen this dog before, maybe he's new to the neighborhood. Nonetheless, Flop actually didn't bark to much at him.

I made Lu a peanut butter sandwich for dinner so Flop didn't really get any of it. I took Lu upstairs to get ready for bed. Vanessa got home and brought us dinner, Wendy's, and this time flop scored himself a nugget and a few fries!

After dinner I went out for a cigarette and Flop chilled with me. Then I carried him upstairs with me and we all chilled (I Steemed) in bed for awhile before going to sleep.

...I'm realizing that Flop's days are pretty routine, there isn't always a lot to write about but i hope at the very least you are enjoying the daily pictures too! Thanks again for reading about Flop's recovery and supporting our cause!
