Within our objectives and motivations to move forward the project Escape Team Game is to broadcast messages that in one way or another show some of the ecological problems that we live in today on our planet, it's for this reason that the world we want to create within of the game is submerged in the apocalypse.
The apocalypse within the game is rooted in the misuse of natural resources and the technological advances that most of the human beings that walk on earth do today, although it is true that all this has been a process of generations and generations of collective unconsciousness, it is also true that things can change and in fact many groups work for that at this time, but it takes everyone's effort so that the new generations enjoy a better quality of life in all senses and to learn from the mistakes that have been made, and continue to be committed, so that they do not repeat them and seek better alternatives in the path of their evolution.
Within Escape Team Game we are aware that video games are not only a fun tool, but through them people open their minds to connect new neuronal paths within their brain, which does not mean we want to make an educational video game bored, we are not teachers or pretend to be, we are simple human beings with artistic inclinations, that like many others, we also have concern for what we see daily that happens around us, for this reason we wanted to give a meaning to the theme of the apocalypse in our game, expressing it through art, without interfering with the gameplay of the game.
It is not within our objectives to adopt an evangelizing position and we do not intend to change ways of thinking through boring and boring mechanical discourses within our game, we just want to show some aspects of the ecological emergency that surrounds us worldwide, perhaps with the hope to sow some concern within the player to investigate on their own and at some point decide to act against those situations.
Inside Escape Team Game we will take some aspects of the harsh reality and we will reflect it through the map of the videogame, we are also writing stories that start from the world reality to describe the reason of that collapse in which is the environment where the event will unfold the player; and finally, we have decided to start building microgames that emphasize these messages to begin to interact with the different communities that support us in the development of the project and make alliances with people or groups that work on the global ecological problem.
For this reason we will launch our first microgame "Apple Catcher" within two weeks (or earlier) on the Whaleshares platform where we have the support of the BBCas and ProjectMilkBox projects, because thanks to your help today we have a small budget that will help us to start working with this great Blockchain community, rewarding not only the winners of the "Apple Catcher" challenge but also the most creative ones who express their experiences within the videogame through their posts.
The theme of "Apple Catcher" is born from the pollution of our planet's water from different heavy metals such as mercury and lead. In a next advance we will be presenting in more detail the artistic sense that we work with this theme in the small area that we designed for this game.
