I have been so down, so this will be a prelude to #untalented 3.0 and #untalented 4.0. It was written long ago, and today, i re-found it and it is a pinpoint prelude to events happening now;
"#untalented" and the upcoming-delayed #untalented 3.0 and 4.0.
For the upcoming #untalented contests, we will simply add numerals to the tag, to make entries for each contest easier to find and manage e.g hashtag (untalented-3) etc

Well, how much of our senses do we apply when we listen to a song?
I think, we all listen to songs differently. The concepts that our brain processes; the depths we reach when we listen to a song etc are different and I feel, some reasons for this, may have a lot to do with our stories, events, experiences etc and in many cases, our depth; "the deep inner person of YOU"!
People may easily go to the fun part of a song; 'how much it makes them groove'. Some people are critical and want to instantly hurriedly out-pick words in the song, that they can call "corny" OR outright immoral; abandoning the "concepts"; "the context" and how these words were said and the possible "moments" in the words; the background choice of beat, the type of cymbals that were chosen to clash etc. "No blame!"
Like I said, soul is not forced! There is a story involved and if not sheer genes; then "soul" is felt and its deep!
Where i live for instance, i know many who can skin a song; they can sing the "notes" out of a song, but it intrigues them non-stop, that a Boy2Man has a different sound or that a SIA wails her song and "wailing for real" is heard etc
Yes, they ask me, even when i sing my rough note, why it sounds different. Yes, they feel something is different but they can't place it and they ask me. They have ear for something, but the drums are clear enough!
Well, the answers are here; "#untalented"
So imma talk for self a bit as we all hear different things and are taken to different places, when we listen to a song:

Yes, you can groove to it; slow-wind to it; Jamaican feel, high-life etc but that song does contain lyrics too.
Some fresh concepts about life, "live" in it!
Now the question is:
- How far-reaching do you see, through your ears?
- How much of this beautiful sense of hearing do we tap into?
- How much more of ourselves do we tap into, by means of our ears?

'Forgive the battering', is sometimes possible in love, I tell you! It depends on what your eyes have seen. And especially you and your man, if you have gone from rock bottom to summit together, you indeed may be able to 'forgive the battering' and love like crazy still!
Many times, it is 'intentions', not the act that's paramount to look at! Life is one crazy concept!
'Love on the brain', is crazy possible! Chris Breezy and Riri, on the brink of 'potentially-back-as-couple'; very possible! I mean, she dissed Drake's kiss advances not too ages ago.
"Love" is one intense thing. I hear people say it, like it is one "light word". It isn't!
When you listen to this song, you can feel it. You come to understand things better. Yes, it takes you to those places, where you start to understand, how 'a son can tell his mama';
"I have been away for 5 years and I miss you like crazy but I can't come back to see you empty-handed. I have to return with news; whispers of goodnews; for I carry my dreams and yours".
You listen to this song and it's arrangement and it takes you to those places!
- Oh you smoke and we are friends and I fight you to stop and I want to leave you, for I don't want a future where I can't grow old with you, because your liver is having issues.
- Or "I don't want to get married yet even though i love you so much, because i am still in hustle state and I don't want you and our future kids to taste too much suffering".
In life we need to open our eyes and ears. Use these senses to the fullest. What I am saying?

Yes, my definition of love is a bit too deep. But i tell you that is how deep love in reality is. And especially, when there is so much suffering but love in itself is long suffering and love for real is tested. Jehovah is love and He show this. Most times when we listen to music,we don't listen to the lyrics well and digest we just shake our heads and dance to the beat,moreover the song has a deeper meaning and a deeper message that whe you just sit alone and listen to the lyrics carefully,you begin to wonder is this the same sing i have been listening to for months and just discovered that the lyrics is awesome??Sure it is Most artist in nigeria have made most people to juat dance to beats alone because most of the time their lyrics is wack and so no one wants to listen they just dance to it at the club without bringing out any meaningful point from the song

yes, it is really true when you did put yourself more into your first love and it just vanished in an instant, that is really painful , but if you can learn from it surely it will be a good experience for you to move over it and learn something new and even finding greater love to someone . Hello Terry. It's been quite a while and I was very happy waking up to this great post.
You can say that again 'life is crazily crazy ' and it is not something you can control like a straight line. It comes with so many sinister curves that knocks you off-balance. As a young girl, it was easy for me to have outlined stuffs I could never get myself involved in but as an adult who has been about, I discovered a different perspective to life entirely. Now I am less judgemental of others. I let them make their mistakes and perhaps learn from it. My depth is not your depth and that is why we both can appreciate the same things differently. This is an awesome post and I am eagerly awaiting untalented-3.
And on a last note, I still insist that you get lots of rest. Thank you for being there for me, it is something I and my kids will appreciate for the rest of our lives.
Hi Edith, you have spoken and i believe you. As you older especially in the understanding of life and grasp the full meaning of suffering, many things are forgiveable. Many people have done time. They longer deserve any more suffering. Yes, some people have done time and left to me, have paid for all their crime. I get tired of life really, cos i suffer too much, i have done time, so much time but my suffering is a rare case, satan sits on that case, but the case in itself is in Jehovah's bosom, that's why i am here and that's exactly what's in my posts and perhaps, exactly why it has a measure of impact in touching people. it's a long road and we will be it together, even with your kids and family and we will laugh together. I don't talk much about my issues cos regardless of my issues, this has been my path.

Listening to music is something i love doing on the regular basis i must confess because it melody bring inspiration to me and relief me of any pain i might be passing through, to me music is a remedy and abode.
I dont normally gage it but i know when am out of ideas and need a safe haven then music is the only remedy for me even in it lowest volume i explore the whole world of idea.
Well i tap into all those ideas although circumstances around me may not permit me to tap into some but i use to try my best to maximized those inspiring resources.

now, wow, when i saw love on the brains here was wondering what you wanted to say about it cos twas my best song in that album...i connected to it personally not just for the rhythms and beats which of course i loved so much but for the words.... the lyrics hit me hard cos i was going through a rough heartbreak situation and i desperately wanted to get over the whole thing but it just wasnt coming easy... funny enough i was so engulfed in my own pain and life that i didnt for one minute connect it to riri.... i wouldnt still think that if not the way you just brought it up now

Hi @surpassinggogle. Read through your post some few minutes ago and this are mine personal submission.
I love music and I do a lot of singing too. Music to me is life. A life without music is empty (my opinion).
When i listen to any song be sure am listening to so many things like the lyrics,message, rhyme, style of music, the syncopation done by the artist, what the artist intend to achieve with the song.
Put all this together is what I define in music .
Sincerely I am not a fan of Rihaana or Chris Brown because I have my own type of music that i listen to but am very sure those two still have something for one another. Their coming back together will not be something surprising to me because it should be expected.
Concerning the #untalented 3 & 4, I am one those that are waiting for it to happen. I never knew you will coming with both 3 & 4 but be sure that I am waiting for it ..................... Thank you the job that you doing and be sure that you being prayed for.

Hahaha thank you alot. I am struggling but it will be out soon, i am sure. Music and every niche will happen under #untalented. We will attempt things at least, to see if we have something there. Many times, we never really know we had e.g love for baseball cos we never held a baseball bat before, we hold it once and maybe that has been where its at along. So basically with #untalented, we will test things out and find new love or at the very least test things out

Hello @surpassinggoogle. "Love On The Brain" by Rihana is a bomb. My problem with these guy's relationship thingy is that they are celebrities and when you talk celebrity's relationship, I don't put my head down for the show.
Their relationship lifestyle is kinda confusing, but if both of em are pulling a relationship string, I wish them all the best.

Well, about the song. for me, the lyrics is a strong representation of current ideal of love. Sometimes mind speak louder than the heart but then it's how the artist projects the emotions and the meaning of the lyrics.
This is my analogy of the song as I read the lyrics couple of times while listening to the music...

@surpassinggoogle Terry, to be honest, I don't listen to the music anymore lol. I listen to the birds, or look the trees or the falling leaves:) I googled her song and watched on youtube. The lyrics -heavy!! so much emotions there. She sang it loud, expressed it-through music. Same us here on Steemit, we can share, express ourselves through writing:):) and it felt good!!!

Hi Terry its okay even if the untalented 3 and 4 are late your still supporting alot specially new ones, hmmm I think having always prelude to your contests looks great because maybe we can have some sort of ideas for us to prepare beforehand. Yes lyrics is important. Very. Even for this song, i am not condoning the lyrics. you will figure out the stunts. The links are all leading to other songs and the main video wasn't of Rihanna. The main subject of the posts to give clues about an aspect of #untalented that involves using our beautiful sense a bit more in #untalented 4.0 and "forgive" or sift even the not-so-good, to find good in it. #untalented is a curriculum, thus, pacing is essential before dropping the real bomb. This will allow bomb or information to accomplish its intended purpose of spreading love cos even the best info when not timely can cause a collapse. Imagine, telling someone that hasn't never seen 2 kobo, that you put 10 billion in his bank account just for him, you had good intentions and goodnews but even goodnews can cause a heart attack, if not timely or paced aright

Even if it does not cause heart attack it will make that person to misbehave. For example, someone will a lottery with having a plan for it, such fund will finish within few days or weeks through squandering.
