Hi steemians! This is my first tutorial blog here in steemit. Now, I will show to all of you how to draw 3D Floating ball.
Materials: 2 shades of pencils (lighter and darker), ruler, eraser(incase of error) cotton and paper.
First, draw an oval shape. Draw it in this part of your paper.
Second, Imagine that there's a light in the top part of your oval to easily Identify the shading pattern.
Draw a small oval in this part of your big oval. dont put a shade on it.
Next, draw this two curve lines in this part of your oval. It will be the guide for your shading.
Using your darker shade of pencil, shade this part of your oval like this.
Next using your lighter shade of pencil, shade this part of your oval.
Then get some toilet paper, or cotton. Anything that you can use for smudging.
Smudge this part of your oval until it turn like this. Remember, don't put a shade in the small oval.
Next, Smudge the middle part between the two shades of pencils, until it become like this.
Now, just like what I've said, Imagine that ther is a light in this part of your oval so you can see where is the position of the shadow in your floating ball.
Draw another oval in the lower part of your first oval for the shadow. Then fill it with the all dark shade. Then smudge the outline part until it become like this.
Now get the ruler and make a line in the middle part of your oval. This will be your guide for cutting.( I don't have a ruler so I use my sketchpad instead)
Cut the paper in this pattern. It will be give an 3D effect in your camera.
This is the trick, move your face or camera in this position and observe!
And tadaaaaaa! You have now your 3D floating drawing!
This will be the product of your work.
Please give me some feedback about my artworks, so I will know what are the things that I will improve next.
Thankyou steemians! Godbless!
