Unexpected Visitor

My mother came to visit me today. I received her text early this morning that she is riding a bus going to the city. My mother traveled three hours from the town of Dalaguete to Cebu City.

Pasalubong

She brought us tablia or cocoa, chicharon from CarCar City where the bus stopped. She also gave my daughter a stuffed toy.

The cocoa melted on her way to the city.

We ate our lunch together at a famous fast food chain restaurant.

During my college days when I'm studying in the city. There was a time when I didn't go home in the province because I had classes on Sunday which is the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) that time. On Monday morning she was in my boardinghouse and brought me some food like fruits, vegetables and etc. She always told me to cook the veggies which she brought so that I can save my allowance. And I don't have to buy my food outside.

While I'm writing this, she is now going home back to the province. She will arrive there at 6:41pm.
