yes, it is really true when you did put yourself more into your first love and it just vanished in an instant, that is really painful , but if you can learn from it surely it will be a good experience for you to move over it and learn something new and even finding greater love to someone . Again it is a journey of life, we do have our trials and pains , by this you can learn and improve yourself.
