you are right, I have never looked at it that way, we do all have something to sell, even our ideas! What a great interpretation of what we all do here in steemit. I was asked by a friend why I got paid for blogging on steemit and I couldn't think of a reason, this basically would have answered her question in one go! We have value, even in our ideas. When we share them, if people find value in them, we may receive reward for them. Such a great way of thinking about life!
