It was all fun and games at our New Year's party🎉💃 at the Foundation on Sunday (a kind principal let us use her school premises). Neighbours also came with their kids(as per free jollof rice😋😉).
We started by having the kids sing the National Anthem🌍
There was a ballet presentation(we had a dance instructor come over to teach them beforehand, because I don't know jack about ballet🤦)
We also had hiphop dance presentation(also not my doing, as I can't dance to save my life😁)
Then came games-dance around the chair till the music stops, guess the country game, poetry, rhymes and suprisingly rap
And yes, I forgot to mention there was lots of Nigerian jollof rice and gifts packs for every child-thanks to steemit.♨️
Going through these pictures and remembering the smiles on their faces brings out teardrops from my eyes😢.

Thanks a lot for the encouragement. I started the Foundation quitely(without soliciting much for support) as financial support wasn't forthcoming. Didn't publicize it on Facebook or any social media platform, because I felt it would be pointless.

It's a delicious Nigerian delicacy😋 made with rice and blended tomaotoes/pepper.
It's in high demand over here and very popular. Kids love it and adults too. You're in luck, cos i'm cooking it tomorrow and would share it here in my blog.👌
