AMAZING ADJUSTMENTS THAT HAVE COME MY WAY SINCE I JOINED STEEMIT ...

To start with, I’ll like to send a sincere gratitude to the mind behind this concept by saying THANK YOU @surpassinggoogle.

Today, I clock a month and 9days old on steemit platform and all I can say to steemit is “THANK YOU”. But subsequent to my appreciation to steemit, I’ll like to share my experience on how steemit has made my life so much better than it was before.

BEFORE I FOUND STEEMIT
Prior to the day my friend @tosyne2much introduced me to this wonderful platform, my life was in a state of frustration and first grade mess because I was a civil engineering graduate without a job. In most cases, immediately you are through with school, parents tend to leave you to your faith especially when you are a male. Parents will say they’ve tried, now you are a big boy and you should know how to cater for yourself.

My fellow steemians, how does a young guy without any source of income cater for himself? But because this is how things happen in this part of the world, we gladly accept the fact that our parents have tried by helping us go to school.

To compound the whole matter, as the first child of the family, siblings won’t just understand that you don’t have a source of livelihood yet, they won’t just stop asking you for assistance all because they nurse the thought in their minds that they are your responsibilities. I feel very bad and useless when my siblings ask me for assistance and I can’t live to their expectations, especially their finances. I got frustrated to the extent of thinking about going to take menial jobs but I just kept praying and hoping to God for a breakthrough.

Sometimes in December last year, @tosyne2much told me about steemit, writing articles and earning but I wasn’t interested, I was so keen on investing on bitcoin. But on the 3rd of January, 2018, something just told me to call him (@tosyne2much) and listen to what he has to say, so I did. And since that day till this day, that discussion has been one of my most memorable ones in my whole life.

AFTER I FOUND STEEMIT
After the discussion I had with @tosyne2much on January 3, 2018, I signed up the following day and I got my password barely 12hours after signing up. It was as if all the miracles I was expecting in my life was attached to my steemit account.

Firstly, I became a full member of steemit on January 4, 2018 which was a Thursday and I resumed my dream job the following Monday which was dated January 8, 2018. I was so perplexed when I got a call on January 5 to report for an interview in one of the estate management and property consultancy firms I had submitted my CV to. I started the job the following Monday.

Secondly, my friend that resides in London that gives me writing jobs called me for a job of almost half a million naira after a 6months drought of jobs. What amazed me most about the job was the job to money ratio. The money that was being paid for the job was far too much compared to the job I did (the job was just to write a business proposal for him).

As if all these miracles won’t be enough, my uncle that relocated to Ghana called in for me to start a supply of CD and DVD plates, both in music and movies. I buy here in Nigeria and send to Ghana for him every Saturday. I make reasonable cash from it too.

In the course of the few weeks of steemit membership, I and one of my invitees @imbigdee came up with a forum aimed at talking to at least 1 peson everyday about steemit and it's benefit, the YES MOVEMENT. With the help of this movement, I and @imbigdee have been able to bring at least 15people onboard steemit.

Coincidence may be something that really exists, but my story after getting onboard steemit was more than a mere coincidence. Steemit liberated me, it gave me respect and regard. Now, anytime I need cash to do anything, it’s just a matter of selling some few SBDs and it’s all done.
