Have you ever heard about Fabian socialism? Taking small steps to imperceptibly modify perceptions and behaviors so as to push humanity along a path that couldn’t be done by taking big steps?
This is done through imposing a new law here, another restriction there. This continues until your turn around and wonder ‘Am I becoming mad? I don’t understand what’s going on!’
The emergence of a less malleable new class of industrial workers in the late 1900s was threatening to disrupt the established balance of power in industrial societies. The Fabian Society decided to slowly and imperceptibly indoctrinate the masses with their ideas to bring them under their control.
The Fabian Society’s dictatorial intentions were exposed early on through the statements and actions of its leadership. The goal of the society toward education was to have the state gradually control the children instead of his parents as a way to control the growing urban working class.
Step by step, our children are losing their freedoms. The days are becoming longer, the stress is becoming higher (which in some cases lead children to use dangerous drugs as a means of maladaptively coping with it), a growing number is burning out (which often leads to mental health problems among emerging adults), video surveillance in school is becoming the new normal, (hell yeah 1984!), and so on (check out @thepholosopher for as very interesting video on that subject https://steemit.com/anarchy/@thepholosopher/5-ways-public-school-brainwashes-children)!
In addition, homework doesn’t make sense to parents anymore.
As author David Icke pointed out, it is becoming increasingly difficult for parents to help their children with homework, because most subjects are taught in a completely different way than they were just a couple of decades ago. And when you look back, you may realize that this is done deliberately to break the bond between children and their parents. If children realize that their parents can’t help them, they will turn to their teachers, (a.k.a. the state) to help them, which may lead to them staying later at school. “I don’t see my kid much anymore.” No wonder!
In addition, parents who don’t want to send their children to jail get punished! @markwhittam in his mind-boggling article “Our Child Is Being Put On The Child Protection Services List Because We Refuse To Send Her To School....What is Freedom...Are We Free? explains how his choice to educate his daughter instead of having the school do it was perceived as “child abuse.”
Have you ever though a bit more deeply about why most children are so heartbroken when they first leave for school? It’s not only because they will miss you, it’s because they’re forced to go to what really looks like jail for the next 12 years of their lives. The definition of prison is “any place of confinement or involuntary restraint.” Sounds familiar?
Unschooling is an option and there are numerous avenues today to teach your kid at home and let him reach his full potential without it being restricted by a careless dictatorial state.
And if you child misses his friends there’s always the option of enrolling him or her in a club! There’s so much choice these days and with all the information available online, it would be a pity to not take advantage of it!
