I still struggle with witness voting as to be effective voter, I want to research each one. But the data is not available for the average steemian. For me, due to my IT background, I'm looking for witnesses who are good administrators, database admins, good with security. but I also want witnesses that are distributed all over the world in all kinds of countries, rather than having them all lumped in one country using a single service. I want to make sure the block chain is well distributed in the event of a failure, political turmoil, war, etc which is bound to happen. But getting that kind of information is really tough. So any recommendations? Yes. Do the research and when you figure out all that stuff on the 16,000 witnesses, write a post and perhaps that would help everyone vote for the best interests of the blockchain. ;) Of course I'm just kidding, but that is how daunting this task really is.
