Today I picked up 2 cards for my GPU rig a GTX 1080 and GTX 1050 ti. Honestly the quality of both boards are great and they are well packed however upon testing the both of them I find the 1080 lacks in performance for price point. If you intend to mine get a GTX 1070 Ti as it preforms much quicker or buy 3 GTX 1050 ti for the same price.

Yeah the 1080 isn't as good as a 1070 ti. The 1050Ti is decent all around in terms of performance and price.
Playing with a gtx 1080 must be incredible!
Yeah It is quite a sweet card and packaged beautifully however I really wish I was able to get a 1080 Ti.
Nice Cards.. both.. The 1050 ti is a nice Budget Card.. and the 1080 a Card for "everything" .. Only Problem is: In Germany the price of the 1080 is around 600-650€ at the moment ... :( The Mininghype is Real! :D
