Sluggards do not plow in season; so at harvest time they look but find nothing.Sometimes you meet people with wonderful dreams, potentials and great innate abilities, endowments and capacity to be and do much more than they currently are.
The problem can be traced to procrastination. Procrastination is putting off to later what you can do now. It usually begins with little things until it becomes a way and manner of life.
Procrastination denies a man of harvest when the season of harvest comes because he failed to sow in the season of planting. Procrastination is expensive. Delay will always lead to decay.
Whenever you notice something going wrong, arrest it immediately, the further you wait the worse it becomes. Time is a resource God has given us all in equal measure. It is an equaliser but some people maximise theirs while others waste it away by postponing actions repeatedly.
If you have been caught in the web of procrastination, you are on the path to emptiness, wasted today's and empty tomorrows. When others are celebrating and enjoying their harvest you will have nothing to show for it.
As long as it is day, I must do the work of Him who sent me. Night is coming when no one can work John 9:4. Realise that time is a fixed or limited resource. It cannot be increased it can only be maximised. Your life is a summation of what you have done with your time.
