ULOG #1: My Little Business

I mentioned in my intro post about my small food business. I'm selling Siomai, Mini Siopao and Gulaman. I buy my products from David's Tea House while I buy Gulaman or dried seaweed in the market. Though I prepare my own Arnibal or Caramelized Brown Sugar Syrup as well as Chilli sauce and Siopao Sauce.

If you plan to put up this kind of business I advise you to buy from David. In my months of experience, customer prefers David compared to other brands.

So, this is how it looks like

My business is open from Monday to Saturday. I usually start at 2 pm and closes at 7 pm.

I earn more with Gulaman when it's really hot. Aside from this, I also sell Lumpiang Shanghai per pack on a per order basis. So if you plan to do an outreach program like feeding program you can try serving Lumpiang Shanghai and Hardboiled egg and rice instead of Pancit which is prone to getting spoiled.

What do you do with the left overs on a bad day?

I store them back in the freezer, both have 3-4 weeks life shelf.

Naks Natapos mo ah. san mo ginawa?

Ke Jeff, Me pinagawa rin kanina, kya sinabay ko na to.

What's inside the siopao? Pork or beef?

Sorry for the late reply. I was already asleep. It's Pork, Pork is much more saleable than Beef.
