Today my drama crew and I had a wonderful presentation in Kaduna Nigeria, located in West Africa, the drama was great and full of impact. Permit me to share with you the story in brief; you'd be glad you read it.
An old Potter promised to make beautiful pots for three girls and gave dates for each of them to come for her pot.
"Mairo" was the first girl to go for her pot. The Potter had already finished her pot. When she saw the pot she was disappointed. She complained the pot was too small for a big girl as herself. She got angry at the old man, took the pot and smashed it into pieces. The old man watched in amazement.
Next was "Binta" who came happily as the potter ushered her into his workshop; but he was not done with her pot yet, he was putting some final touches to it. She became very angry. Her impatience made her carry a different pot that was not designed for her and left. Again, the old man watched in amazement.
Then came the third girl, "Zichat" for her own pot also. When the Potter handed the pot to her she reacted differently from the other two girls; she received it with gladness, she danced as she walked away.
THE BIG ISSUE
The girl who smashed her pot smashed her destiny.
The girl who took the wrong pot took a destiny not designed for her because she was impatient.
Finally, the girl that received hers with gladness received her perfectly designed destiny.
