Good morning, Hive-ians! 😊
Our week started with a blizzard that our cattle didn’t like and a loss of power which meant no pulser to keep the cows in their winter area, of course the cattle liked that and decided to go play with the end of one hay bale while mooing loudly for my handsome husband or I to let them into the barn. My handsome husband did the honors as you can see from this picture. 😊
When the snow finally stopped the next afternoon. 😊
By the time my handsome husband was done clearing the driveway and a path to the barn there were some piles that were as tall or taller than the backhoe he was using to move the snow. 😊
I can’t tell you if that’s a Crow, a Raven or just a Blackbird hanging out with some of our Snow Buntings in one of our sleeping apple trees on the far side of our driveway, but I can tell you that they’re waiting for me to finish refilling the feeders. 😊
We’ve had some pretty sunrises this week, unfortunately I forgot my phone inside for most of them, but I did catch this one. 😊
Our pretty puppy mom Karma watching her kids play in the sunshine. 😊
While I was bringing the empty garbage can back to the house I decided to stop and grab a picture of some of our Pigeons and Snow Buntings playing around on and above our roof. 😊
Some of our gorgeous sunset colours this week behind my favourite tree. 😊
Some more of this week’s lovely sunset colours.
Our Snow Buntings were quick to come down out of the apple trees after I tossed a scoop of sunflower seeds and bird food out for them. 😊
That single Pigeon looks like a giant amongst the Snow Buntings behind it, at least to me. 😊
I snapped this shot of some of our Snow Buntings heading into our front yard dog area to get the sunflower seeds my handsome husband spread out there on Wednesday, just before the freezing rain came. 😊
This little Chickadee braved the freezing rain, (that we had late Wednesday and on and off all day Thursday,) for a snack. 😊
Our driveway, (which is downhill and sloped, in case you can’t tell from this photo,) was a skating rink yesterday and I was worried my handsome husband would wipeout when he went all the way up it to help get the mail delivery driver off our rink and back out onto the main road, thankfully he was fine and managed to get the mail delivery person back out safely.
Well, that was how things have been going for us here. I hope you have all been safe and healthy and have had an amazing week! 😊 I’m grateful to God for blessing us with another week to share with you here. 😊 God bless you all. 😊 Have an awesome week everyone! 😊

I probably knew you got snow buntings each year, but it was nice to see them. There's a flock north of us on the hill to our milk club pickup farm. We would watch for them each week when we went for milk.
It's our turn for skating rinks here. It's rained for 2 day and the temps plummet today to 0F or below.
Ugh, I feel for you my friend, skating rinks aren't my idea of a good time as my balance is questionable on a dry flat surface and horrible on ice. My handsome husband is outside right now trying to clear ours of all the fresh snow that fell throughout the day and night yesterday and the evening before. It's crazy how much it accumulates up here and how big our snow piles get. LOL! 😊
Hope your rink melts quicker than ours. 😊
