The day begins at 5:15 am the alarm clock is ringing…still with sleep it off and I was lying down for a few more minutes; they spend about 10 minutes and startled me out of bed thinking...why don't I got up before?
I go to the kitchen and I begin to make breakfast, lunch today forward last night. While the arepas are cooked, I'm fixing. From the kitchen I hear the voices of my husband and girls up and takes them to the bathroom and help vestirlas college uniform.
My husband is going to work in and out of the house with my two princesses and aaaall the gear.
He came to my work, a bustling, very hot, and above all happy. I am a chemistry teacher in a public school in Venezuela, I students between 14 and 17 years.
My students are my friends, we laugh together and listened to their concerns, which in many cases are surprising in view of his age. I really enjoy my job counselor to discuss with them a book called "What young people ask" with which we spoke of topics such as: sexuality and morality, family relationships, self-esteem, difficulties in school…among others. Here you can meet some of my students.
My vehicle transport for several colleagues and friends, who are avoided long hours waiting for public transport and economic savings and in a gesture of gratitude I donate some food, which in my view, it is much better than any monetary payment.
Our monthly salary is equivalent to the price of 2 kilograms of beef…yes, I WAS NOT MISTAKEN. The sanitary conditions and climatic conditions of the school are very poor and do not have dining service or economic benefit or of different services to a wage, yet we are giving classes, I say that we are TEACHERS OF HEART AND VOCATION…
