Today I tested our tiny "Southwest Poultry + Timothy Pasture Blend" on Devon, our Blue American buck. He is a very mellow bunny, whose breed profile describes him to a T when it says that bucks are so mild, they border on lazy. I knew Devon was a safe bet on being easy to catch without stomping all over the tender new plants.
True to form, he nosed around in the tall browse above his eyeballs, gave one little binky, then set to work trying to find his way back into the main yard to reunite with his ladies.
Speaking of which, Devon accomplished one successful love connection with Violet Hunter on March 1st. Despite numerous amorous and clearly enjoyable attempts with Daisy, nope, no bolt of lightning. So, perhaps we are already expecting a litter from Violet first thing in April, perhaps not. She is a grumpy little doe, so who knows?
Hope my bunny rom-com meets with your approval! Have a beautiful day <3

I hope you have little bunnies on the way! And that you post pictures when they arrive!
Yay, thanks! I hope so, too. We wanted both does pregnant at the same time, but Nature doesn't always comply with human plans, lol! I will most definitely post baby photos when the time comes. Breeding animals is a brand new experience for me <3
Ha ha! Nature almost never complies!
