I had the need for fresh spices and herbs and the spices from Marrakesh are the best place to go.
The smell is amazing ! And the variety is huge !
I bought 5 different taste mixes and that will be enough for the coming months. This is the round ceiling of the Hal.
After that we made a round, I went to the fabrics and needlework department and bought some stuff for my new company. And I bought flowers and sweets.
It’s almost weekend and when you start early you have a long day so that I have now ahead off me. Going for a cup of tea and reading the paper now.

Beautiful photos, I love markets! I wish they were more common in the United States. I do think they are growing, a few small ones have recently opened up where I live. They are a wonderful opportunity for bringing your own containers/bags and minimizing your waste!
Well I don’t know about the waste thing, all is done in plastic but this is a permanent one, we have travelling markets and pop up ones. You can sell your own produce. All are fun and I love them too

This certainly is an amazing Market, especially where the spices are concerned. What a perfectly wonderful array of spices to choose from. It makes it so much easier to have a One-Stop shop for those things. One cannot beat the punch that fresh spices and herbs give a dish. I was waving at your selfie! Did you see me?
I know what you mean when you say that the smell is amazing. There's nothing quite as aromatic as walking into a store that has fresh herbs and spices. It looked like you had enough to last you for at least a good long time oh, I don't think you'll be running out anytime soon. I do love the ceiling and the shape of it lends itself to he painted in a much more decorative way as opposed to a flat one.
You have hit on one of my weaknesses when you went through the fabric Department. I love sewing and quilting and I tried to stay away from there unless I absolutely need something because I have piles and piles to work with at home. It's a weakness and I can't help it because it only looks beautiful to me. Flowers go without saying that I absolutely love and those wonderful looking sweets have turned my eyes. Yes please. I want to thank you for joining in and it has been fun reading about your shopping trip. I appreciate all the time and effort it takes to put into a post and as always I wish you a most wonderful week!
