My Cryptocurrency Startup Journey : Day 2 (The time I cheated on my honey, Jaxx...)

Long hours. Overworked. No sleep. And not getting the satisfaction I need at home with Jaxx, I decided it was time cheat.

If you've been following my last couple of posts, you'll remember that the last time I tried sending $20 worth of BCH from my bitcoin.com wallet to my Jaxx wallet, nothing arrived. I even 10-druple checked that shiz. And nothing.

One time not receiving payment into Jaxx was enough for me. So I decided to look elsewhere.

My new bae, Coinomi

I already have 10 crypto wallets on my iPhone. So I'm in no short supply. All the reviews online always have Coinomi in the top three wallets out there.

So I decided to send $100 of BCH from my bitcoin.com wallet to my Coinomi wallet. I wanted to go back to Pie Hole and test using Litecoin, instead of Bitcoin for payment.

Side Note: I believe my bitcoin.com wallet sent BCH instead of BTC to Pie Hole's wallet yesterday, so I wanted to make sure I did them right.

And guess what! Within 1 MINUTE I received the BCH into my Coinomi. I immediately went to the convenient ShapeShift tab to convert it all to Litecoin. While it was exchanging, I took the time to walk around downtown SLC and people watch all the hipsters, Goldman Sachs workers leaving work, skaters, home peoples....

Oh look it's done! Within 10 minutes I had my BCH exchanged for LTC. And this whole process of bitcoin.com wallet >Coinomi wallet > exchange into LTC cost me a total of ~$0.10 of transaction fees! That's nothing!

Well done, Coinomi. Well done.

But don't worry, my profile still says No Strings Attached

Even though I had a great experience with Coinomi, I still need to test my 7 other wallets. I need to find the wallet with: 1) the easiest to navigate UI, 2) crypto exchange, and, if available, 3) a crypto-to-fiat exchange in app. And I'm looking for mobile versions because this will be easiest for local merchants to use. At least that's what we think. We will be meeting up with the Pie Hole manager to see how they account for the crypto in all the business processes.

And remember everyone, when it comes to crypto, don't get attached ;) #NSA
