ULOG 17: Back to the Nearest Base after a Week of Clearing the Mountains

After a week of clearing and pursuit operations in the mountain areas, we decided to go to our nearest base. We ran out of food supplies and we needed to recharge. We saw a tiny "sari-sari" store and bought all the items in there.

I must admit, we were all hungry. Our last meal was yesterday lunch. The owner was kind enough to sell us one of his chickens. We cooked it for our meal today.
We also had a proper bath. It’s nice to feel refresh after a week of spending time in the forest.

Here’s a picture I took before reaching the foot of the mountain. Somehow, it looks safer than the forest we’ve been to.

For now, we’re just resting and waiting for instructions from the higher-ups regarding our next move.
