Oh of course. They've already used them. The Kinzhal is a hypersonic missile. The plot twist is, Ukraine is able to intercept them anyway.
Patriot missiles have about a 70% success rate against Kinzhal hypersonics in the war so far.

As for a Sino-Japanese War, that's always possible but I think China will attack the Philippines (which they think will be an easy target) before they try to fight Japan. If China attacks Japan they'll find out fast just how weak the PLA really is.

Dear Rob!
Are you saying that The Kinzhal's performance is low and it is not a threat to the United States?

I don't think China has anything to gain by attacking the Philippines. I think China will attack Taiwan and Okinawa.

I wonder if China will launch a nuclear attack if the US attacks mainland China!

You claimed that the United States had a secret new weapon that could wipe Russia and China off the face of the earth.

You claimed that the United States had a secret new weapon that could wipe Russia and China off the face of the earth.

Not "a new secret weapon." What I claimed was that China and Russia love to boast of their "new breakthroughs" while the US never admits we have a weapon until we have been using it for decades. We used drones for the first time in the 1980's, and fielded a hypersonic (albeit only an interceptor) in 1965.

Are you saying that The Kinzhal's performance is low and it is not a threat to the United States?

That's precisely what I'm saying. The Kinzhal has been a colossal failure. For 3500% the cost of an Iksander, it has 103% the effectiveness, and our interceptors have shot it down with ease almost daily. And as for Russia's vaunted "Oreschnik," it doesn't exist. It's a Rubezh ICBM with half of its fuel tanks empty. It's a bigger, slower-moving target than a Kinzhal, with a more obvious heat signature.

I don't think China has anything to gain by attacking the Philippines. I think China will attack Taiwan and Okinawa.

The fact that China is broadcasting their intention to do this is why I doubt it. China is going to a lot of trouble to say "we're attacking Taiwan! See?! It's Taiwan! Any day now, we'll attack Taiwan! See?" China's entire doctrine of warfare is built on lies. And they've already been laying the groundwork for an invasion of the Philippines for decades, slicing off layers of its maritime territory and militarizing islands off its coast.

I wonder if China will launch a nuclear attack if the US attacks mainland China!

Well, it wouldn't be the US who initiated an attack, but yes, I strongly suspect the Chinese would be stupid enough to do just that. And considering no Chinese missile has ever hit its target in a test except for one aimed at a satellite, it will be fun to watch their shocked Pikachu faces when their nuke is shot down and we eradicate their population in retaliation.

Dear @patriamreminisci !
Rob!
I don't think China can launch a nuclear missile strike against the United States, which is 8,000 kilometers away.
However, China claimed it has 100 nuclear missiles aimed at South Korea.
China argued that the United States cannot stop 100 nuclear missiles aimed at South Korea.
So, China argued that the United States cannot protect South Korea.

By the way, Are you currently in Ukraine? Do you think Ukraine will fall under Russian rule?

I'm still in Ukraine, and at Russia's current rate of advance they will reach Kyiv some time in the Winter of 2094. That's not actually a joke either, it's a calculation of their rate of advance measured against the miles left to go before they reach Kyiv. In the past 18 months, their territorial gains have quite literally not been enough to build a cemetery large enough for the men they've lost while taking it.
So, no. I don't see it falling to Russia. They've launched eight failed offensives against Kharkiv alone already.

As for China having 100 nukes pointed at South Korea, I doubt that. Frankly, China barely has 100 nukes at all, and using 100 on South Korea would leave them with nothing left to use against the US, though they would have invited a nuclear retaliatory strike. And further, North Korea's interceptors can shoot down 100 missiles with no problem. If South Korea isn't sure of that then they've got the manufacturing ability to produce more.
Or buy Iron Dome batteries from Israel.
Or study Ukraine's "intercept by drone" technology, which is working amazingly well (Russian Shaheds are 0 / 1435 in the past 7 days on hitting their target).
South Korea's not a third world country, they're a techno-power. They've got US protection but they're also capable of building their own defenses. China will fail humiliatingly if they try it.

Rob!
Do you believe that Russia will fail to dominate Ukraine?

As for China having 100 nukes pointed at South Korea, I doubt that. Frankly, China barely has 100 nukes at all, and using 100 on South Korea would leave them with nothing left to use against the US, though they would have invited a nuclear retaliatory strike. I believe that even a single nuclear missile strike from China or North Korea would cause terrible damage.
In particular, North Korea's nuclear missiles always carry the risk of self-destruction due to poor management.

South Korea's not a third world country, they're a techno-power. They've got US protection but they're also capable of building their own defenses. China will fail humiliatingly if they try it.

Currently, S.K. is under the control of Chinese capital. All of S.K.'s confidential information is being leaked to China.
Therefore, Trump is doubting S.K.'s credibility.
I, too, must always avoid Chinese surveillance.
