How to spend your holidays in Uganda:
I am talking about my Vacation „ experience“. Please correct me, if I am wrong :)
Don‘t be shocked when you arrive
Uganda is a poor area. For us it is unimaginable To live there (for a longer period of time). Most people do not even have real houses where there live (but Uganda has many beautifil places),. Still, it‘s the friendliest people I‘ve ever met, so be nice to them too.
Here is a picture:
Be careful
If you want to Drive with „Boda bodas“, you Must Be careful when descending so you do not burn yourself like me at the exhaust:) You habe to dismount on the left side.
negotiating
Before you travel with the Boda, you Must negotiate on (approximatly) 1000 Ugandan Shillings to the nearest Town.
don‘t be afraid of the animals
When I arrived there, there was suddenly a Gecko in my bed. My Father told me, that he is my friend because Geckos eat mosquitoes. One day we even saw a Chameleon.
Most locals are afraid of those and warned us.
I did Not think of anything for the First Time, so please correct me:)

Hi Anika,
This is your first article on Steemit.I'm proud of you.
Nice pictures and nice stories.
Yes I agree: Uganda may be poor compared to Western countries, but is also rich, because of their people.
