The promotion did what they could at the ceremonial weigh-ins for UFC 202, bringing extra police presence onto the stage before Diaz (19-10 MMA, 14-8 UFC) and McGregor (19-3 MMA, 7-1 UFC) walked out. This step seemed doubly necessary after the two engaged in a bottle-throwing melee during the press conference for Saturday’s pay-per-view welterweight main event at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
For McGregor, the fight is all about retribution. For Diaz, the fight is all about making the most money and being the man to well and truly derail the hype train that the Irishman has been riding since he was entered the organisation.

McGregor is quicker & strikes cleaner but Diaz is durable good boxing & immense on the floor ! Can't wait for it won't. And what do you think? Is McGregor will take revenge, or lost again? I am a fan of McGregor, and I am sure that he will knock out Nate. Feel free to comment or argue, I'll be happy to discuss.
Used to watch all the time and loved the original concept, but now it is far to showy.
McGregor's ground game still couldn't hold Nate's jock in a suitcase. Diaz is a very skilled boxer, enough of a reach to keep McGregor at bay. I'd put it at 3 to 1 odds that Diaz wins by either decision or submission again. McGregor would have to land a surprise shot on Diaz, and even with that, Diaz's ability to recover and grapple could marginalize its effectiveness. Just my two cents.
