Mayweather v McGregor - It is getting real!!

in #ufc7 years ago

UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor says he has signed a deal to fight Floyd Mayweather.

McGregor (21-3) concluded negotiations with UFC president Dana White over a proposed boxing match with Mayweather on Tuesday, with the Irishman describing the contract as "historic".

Mayweather told in January that he was "most likely" to return to the ring for a crossover fight with McGregor, but he is yet to sign terms on the bout.

I believe that every UFC/Boxe fan is hoping that this is going to happen and I am one of them...
Let's make this real!!!

For the few who don't know who these 2 athlets are, enjoy the videos below:

Sort:

Purely for the purse only. Can't blame them to be honest but it does nothing for both fighters.
I would like to see Floyd the winner of GGG and Canelo if he's serious about a comeback then I would happily pay money to see him fight GGG or Canelo (again)

Definitely just for money. But I am very curious to see how the loser will react. They are two big personalities and they both think to be "the best". If it will happen, it is definitely not finishing after the fight itself.

I went to see Floyd 2 months ago, great person! He is different when you see him in person than on video. However, Floyd is a GREAT fighter! So is Mccgregor.

However, people need to understand this - NEITHER CAN DO EACH OTHER'S SPORT.

  • Mccgregor would kill Floyd in the cage. However, Floyd will walk over McGregor in the ring...

Since it will be a ring fight, Floyd will win hands down.

  • Floyd has trained with his hands only for years - he is an expert puncher.
  • McGregor has not trained for years with his hands, hes concentrated on other parts of the body but with less focus. - Making him not an excellent puncher (well not up to par to Floyd at least).

Both are great fighters in their field, but I would love Floyd to win.
McGregor is still bit young and cheeky... needs to grow up

Well, as far as I know, McGregor is a very good person as well. Of course they have to create a public personality to bring fan (and haters). About the result of the fight, I completely agree with you, unless an unexpected event happens Conor would win in the octagon, Floyd in the boxing ring.

Definitely agree with you. This fight I have too see.
