After five rounds Cris Cyborg won the fight in her first title defence.
Holly Holm had her moments, and she even made Cris Cyborg's nose bleed.

Holly can beat Nunes although I would favour the champ. But a title shot to a fighter who 1-4 in her five last fights?? Well, in todays UFC all is possible I guess.

I thought that Cyborg could take her down from the clinch and then GNP until the referee thinks it is enough. And when the the fight will be a stand up battle, then the second best female boxer of all time (?) and a successful kickboxer will make her skills matter. But it was the opposite. Holly was quite successful in the clinch (bar those beautiful knees by Cyborg) and lost the stand-up. And no wonder she lost. If you only spam the very same combination for the entire duration of the fight, you should lose to a good counterstriker. Every time holly mixed it up, she had success. But noooo, stick to the gameplan that worked so well against Shevchenko and de Randamie: right-left-highkick the entire night. Yeah, I'm bitter :)
