On October 6, the European Parliament by an absolute majority of votes (504-"For") adopted a resolution in which it calls on the EU states to increase military aid to Ukraine on a large scale, "especially in those areas requested by the Ukrainian government."
And today, during the briefing of the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it was essentially confirmed that our military is undergoing training in the management of very effective Western air defense systems — NASAMS and IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile systems.
NASAMS (Norwegian Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System), produced by an American-Norwegian consortium.
The IRIS-T (Infra Red Imaging System Tail) short- and medium-range air defense system is produced by Germany.
By the way, Spain is also ready to join the strengthening of Ukrainian air defense. The Spanish government plans to supply Ukraine with a short-range Skyguard-Aspide air defense system based on the missile of the same name.
Ukraine stands as a shield for the entire Free World.
