Congratulations!
This post has received a prestigious award!!!!
Reason: Shitty. Shitty idea. Shitty formatting. Shitty bidbots. Shitty idea to present your opinion, then spend money to disguise said shitty opinion as 'popular opinion' by spending money and conveniently placing shitty opinion at the top of the "Trending Page" instead of the "Promoted" page, where it belongs.
No downvote for you today, sir. It's nothing personal. It's just shit. Shit in the purest of forms. The shittiest, of the shit.
I've flagged for disagreement on rewards.
Dear OP your idea is okay, your post is okay, but it is overvalued in my opinion.
I put the comment here for visibility rather than upvoting my own comment.
Say a content producer churns out 260 pieces in a year, working Monday to Friday.
Content producers ask for donations these days.
Someone sends them $100. Okay, fine, but now that money is gone.
If someone were to come here TODAY and spend approx. $100 on STEEM, allowing the content consumer to give the content producer a vote worth a penny each day(approx. 250 STEEM), the content producer earns $2.60 per year before deductions, from each consumer who spends $100.
If the content producer had 10000 followers willing to "donate" $100, that's a million, down the drain.
The content consumer will be asked to donate again, and might spend another $100. A few years later, another $100.
If the content producer had 10000 followers willing to buy enough STEEM for a vote worth a penny, that amounts to $26000 annually before deductions to the content producer. The content consumer does not need to spend another $100 to support that creator the next year. The 10000 followers willing to spend $100 can also support nine other content producers with that same initial investment of $100. 10 content producers, 10000 followers spending $100 each, that's $260000 annually.
Spend $100 to be able to donate $26 annually, for life. That is a great deal if supporting content producers is something you do with your money. The consumer also gets a return on that $100! The deal of the century, if supporting content producers is something you do with your money.
Nowhere in the post above do I see 10000 people purchasing 2.5 million STEEM. Do I need to explain what happens to the numbers when one creates high demand for STEEM? Things like the fact, as the value of STEEM rises, that vote that was once worth a penny also rises, without the need to spend or "donate" more money.
In the post above, I see a bloody handout and infrastructure that COSTS money. That's all. It's not even written by someone who realizes they're currently working in the entertainment industry.
Factor in everything I said here:

So yeah, the idea in the OP is shit, and I could keep rattling off words, but I think I'll leave it at that for now. Sorry if this ramble doesn't make sense but I only had a couple of minutes to spit out words and ideas that don't stink up the joint.
I don't think voting for oneself is a good behavior.
Why do you think it's a shitty idea? Please explain. Just because you think let new or people with low SP get BVP would reduce your profit? I hope you can think further, this would draw more people to steem, then the steem price would raise, finally, we all can earn!
In promoted page, there are some just for advertising, and people often not interested in it. So it would be more visible that my opinion got in trending page.
I was hoping you'd say that.
There's my 29 cents worth of self voting behavior. Look up...
Look way up!
There's your $363.95 worth of SELF VOTING.
Your idea of a penny each would mean, in order for someone to compete with your obsessive amount of SELF VOTING, that would require 36396 votes. Most Youtube videos don't even get that many likes.
But thanks for pointing out the fact you don't approve of what you're doing. I kinda set you up for it, because I've been here before, a couple times, and it's fun.
Wow, I was trapped. I've never thought that before. But how would you think other good mean to promote my idea? As I told, it would be more visible in trending page then in the promoted page. Plus, using bidbot means I paid out 25% profit to them.
People have been proposing new ideas here since its inception. Just because you were able to place it on the front page does not mean it's a good idea. An organic approach would have given you accurate feedback. People pass it on, it gains momentum, because people thought it would work, naturally. Unfortunately, you self voting fiends up here on the trending page with your paid votes stall what is known as progress. I could post a picture of my ass, offer my opinion and say it's a nice ass, boost it up above your opinion, and your opinion will fall to the wayside because people will want to see my ass.
Something like that.
I would say this kind of though is too naive. Good things needs promotion too. Or why people advertise their product/service? As your thought, they should just make great products/service, no needs advertisement, then they would simply got famous. That's not how this society works.
Advertising serves one purpose. It exists to manipulate minds into thinking a product or idea is something they need. Why did you include fear tactics in your writing? Why is there a sense of joy and relief hidden within the mix? Why do those portions overshadow the actual idea, which is only a few sentences and sounds like you thought of it while taking a shit? Because you're trying to manipulate people.
"fear tactics", "a sense of joy and relief hidden within the mix" Which part do you refer to?
I do try to manipulate people, for the purpose of agreeing me and make steem better.
Do we shit with the bathroom door open or closed? Why must we all see you shit?
Because I don't think it's shit. I wonder if you read my post.
Yes. I read that shit.
Ok. Thanks for taking your time for that. Shame that you don't like it and totally disagree with me.
For the most part, this is a content production platform. You seem to think that is a direct competitor with a social media network, but the two go hand in hand. The social media networks are nothing without people sharing links from content production platforms like what we find on the STEEM blockchain.
I could rip what you're talking about apart, piece by piece, but I don't have the time, and I apologize for that.
Oh? But I think they're similar.
Shame for that. I'm interest in your opinion if it's meaningful. But so far I see little worthful content of your words.
By the way, feel free to 1% downvote me to show your disagreement. I'm open to nonmalicious downvotes.
I chose to speak with words today. Not buttons. I've also been watching you.
scary musicI saw here and in the past how you react to downvotes. I thought awarding you with shit would at least place you into a state of joy before reacting. Then you should know I do nothing to nonmalicious downvotes(if my memory is right). I'm open to discussion and different opinions.
Shame that you could only do that, trying to humiliate others, but to debate/discuss with me about my idea. Maybe I overestimate your intelligence to understand this. If so, my fault, sorry for that.
The intention was humor. It's a good thing. The one here who should feel humiliated, is me, for doing that, instead of putting on my I'm perfect mask and acting like a 'normal' human. I did spend time discussing things with you though. Unfortunately, I was put into the position to respond, while you directed the conversation towards irrelevant points. That's okay though. We're best friends now.
hitty. Shitty idea. Shitty formatting. Shitty bidbots. Shitty idea to present your opinion, then spend money to disguise said shitty opinion as 'popular opinion' by spending money and conveniently placing shitty opi
Cool! A parrot!
And your teaching is leading him to a wrong way😆
That was also known as humor. Intended to be a good thing.
