No one can send DMCA complaints to Steemit (at least no valid ones) because videos are not stored on steemit.com nor the blockchain. This post only provides a "link" to another website where a video is stored.
So I don't see here any legal issues.

No, that would be like suing a newspaper who posted torrent links and hashes to download free movies and tv shows... and yes, the newspaper could be sued in that case.
Steemit has a lot of money here. Watch how fast greedy lawyers are going to show up here wanting to grab some of it in a huge lawsuit that will shut this site down and make steemit worthless. Even if they lose in court, these film companies could get an injunction and suck the life out of the steemit founders by pounding them with court. Don't use steemit for pirated links.

Believe me, this is negative press, and negative attention that we do NOT need. There are plenty of other places to find your copyright movies and tv shows. Don't abuse steemit for this purpose.
