How to Stop Country‐Specific Google Redirect

in #tutorial7 years ago

On the off chance that you are utilizing Google from outside of U.S, Google.com will be diverted to a nearby form of the Google page. This divert happens in light of the fact that Google's greatest point is to give you the most pertinent query items in view of the catchphrases and your area. Your IP address indicates Google the area from which you are going to the site. The IPs are doled out by district, so Google peruses your IP address, decides the area and consequently diverts you to the nation particular site.

Step 1: Changing the URL

At first open New Tab. Go to www.google.com/ncr and bookmark the subsequent page. The "NCR" on the finish of what you wrote remains for "no country redirect".

Hunt anything. When you are finished with these means, you won't be diverted far from www.google.com, regardless of where you are on the planet.

Step 2: Using Browser Settings

Go to your program's settings. You can without much of a stretch open Google Chrome Settings by writing chrome://settings on your address bar.

Scroll down to "Appearance". Then click the “Show Home Button”.

Select “Open this page”. Then type https://www.google.com/ncr

Done. Presently you can get to Google.com whenever.

The nearby area setting needs to represent the country you are in. The reason being is that when you are in local mode, NCR is impaired, so Google will divert you to your own particular nation particular area.

Step 3: Manage search engines

There is a way to set Google.com as the default in Chrome, for advertisers wishing to watch out for the Google.com query items rather than their own particular nation adaptation.

In the first place, in Chrome, go to settings at that point click "Manage search engines", regardless of the possibility that it right now demonstrates Google as the default.

Then scroll all the way to the bottom until you see the “Add a new search engine” box.

For search engine name, type “Google NCR” and for keyword type “Google NCR_” – this will serve to remind you that this is the Google search with “No Country Redirect” enabled, although you can name it whatever you’d like. I’d avoid naming it just “Google” to prevent confusion.

Then, in the URL field, enter:

https://www.google.com/search?q=%s&pws=0&gl=us&gws_rd=cr

Be sure it is exactly as above, including all parameters. Add it, save as default search engine, then set this new Google NCR as the default search engine.

It should now show up like this:

And now when you search with Google Chrome using the address/search bar, it will always search using Google.com without the country redirect.

Step 4: Using Extension

first Go to Chrome Store. You can visit chrome store by writing chrome.google.com/webstore/

Search for the extension. Now search for NoCountryRedirect (NCR).

Add the extension. Just click on Add to chrome of NoCountryRedirect (NCR) from the search results.

Done. This extension now can keep you from naturally being diverted from google.com or blogspot.com to the country top-level domain (ccTLD) like 'google.jp', 'google.co.uk' or what have you got. The extension is an "un-redirect solution"; it avoids redirects from google.com and blogspot.com.
