In my one of my previous posts, I wrote on how to convert Steem dollars to Steem power using Blocktrades. In this post I am going to talk about how to do the conversion using the internal market.

Before I proceed it is important that you know how to use both methods. This is because the price of steem/steem power may not be the same in both markets. This means that you can compare the prices and choose the one that is more favorable.

There are other ways to convert steem dollars to steem power. You can use exchanges like bittrex and poloniex to convert steem dollars to steem. After which you can transfer the steem to your steemit wallet using blocktrades but that is just a cumbersome and advanced process. If you do not already have steemdollars in those exchanges or if there is no huge arbitrage potential then its not worth it.

How to Convert Steem Dollars to Steem Power Using the internal Market

In this method we are going to convert steem dollars to steem first and then convert the steem to steem power(power up).

STEP ONE

*Go to your wallet.

*Go to steem dollars.

*Click on market.

*You will be directed to the internal market.

STEP TWO

*Put in the amout you would like to convert from steemdollars to steem (e.g $1). The amout of steem you can get will be automatically calculated.

*Click on buy.

*Enter your password.

STEP THREE

*Go back to your steemit wallet.

*Your steemdollar is now converted to steem.

*Click on power up.

STEP FOUR

*Imput the amout of steem you want to buy

*Click on buy steem

*Enter your password

*You have just power up.

*Time to kick some butts.
