A step-by-step instruction for those who get lost in the structures
Steemit is a source of inspiration, a spring of extra funding for your new ideas or old desires that seemed to be highly unrealizable. Everything here can be implemented, put into action, given an impulse. It has presented me a long-wished tattoo on my left hand gave my car a second life.
Many of those who come here for the first time get owerwhelmed with the constant torrent of information bubbling in the Steemit Sea and frightened by the valuables hidden on in this ocean. I want to help you a bit, so here comes my first #howtowritethebeststoryever tutorial.
A step-by-step instruction
1. Sit down and think first what are you going to write about. That should be something that can either be of any use for the system or something quite popular with its members. TOP topics on Steemit:
- the system itself (what you think about it, first impressions, what it has given to you)
- cryptocurrency (bitcoin, steem, xem and so on)
- tutorials (for more advanced users)
- introduction (tell the community your story)
- travel (travel notes with photos)
- exotic topics like drugs, sex, alcohol etc can skyrocket though not really often
As for such topics as politics, psychology, breeding dogs, cooking and so on - they are not very popular and give you a very small chance to succeed.
Steemit LOVES ANALYTICS. I mean. Make a survey and publish your data - this is a very good content that is likely to be noticed. Don't be lazy and invest your time into Steemit.
2. Heading. Up to 12 words, eye-catching. Some capslock possible (not for the whole heading)
3. Your story. The first 3 lines are extremely important. Many users don't read the whole article and vote judging from the heading, the first 2-3 lines and pics. Make your story organized and quite long (not too long so that the user won't have to scroll your story to death). Use paragraphs and smaller headings. System is above all.
4. Pictures. Important as hell. The first image you add to your story is seen from the main page and determines users' willingness to click on your very post. To download your pics you can use this source for example https://file-up.net/
5. Tag your story. Use the most important tag first. Use 2 popular tags (the first two) and then some unusual. This is a SEO instrument used in Instagram for example. The first two popular tags help your story to get upvotes quite fast and the other three let you be read over and over again in the future.
6. Give some feedback to those who comment your story. Answer the questions and pay interest to those who are interested in what you've written.
7. Write now. I mean sit down and go on. Don't try to time and curb Steemit, it will never obey. Simply go on writing and draw conslusions.
Good luck in your blogging,
Yours,
Anastasia
