I have been filling airdrop forms for almost a month and I haven't received even just a token,are airdrops scam?,are the organisers partial in distribution?,is politics involved? or am I just unfortunate not to get any tokens at all?

If you are an individual in the above listed category of people,then you really need to read this post very carefully and put it into good use....and if you are not but someone into airdrops,read through and u might just learn 1 or 2 things...lets go....

Input of ethereum private key instead of public address
Firstly,I will like to say that NO legit airdrop will ever ask you to submit your private keys,but some newbies still mistakenly submit their private keys/password.

The major cause of this mistake is the unfamiliarity newbies have with airdrops and similarity between an ethereum address and private keys,they are basically both bunch of mixed alphabets and numbers.

Preventive Measures
1》Always take note that an ethereum wallet starts with a 0 followed by the x letter then numbers then letters while an ethereum private key is usually much more lengthy and doesn't start with an x included inbetween.

2》Use etherscan.io to presave your address: etherscan.io is an ethereum block scanning website which allows you to view basic information about your account such as tokens,transactions and ethereum address without the need to use your private key at all

You can open a separate tab on your phone browser and scan your ethereum address without closing the page/tab,you can always refer to the page and copy your address for usage without the risk of copying your private key instead.

3》Dont save your ethereum address and private keys in the same directory/archive/memo/clipboard.

4》Do not fill/participate in airdrops when you feel dizzy/tipsy/drunk/ill or in a really unpleasant mood...always make sure you are in your right sense of mind before filling an airdrop form to avoid mistakes

Phising Links
Most individuals who fill airdrops must have made the unfortunate mistake of clicking on a phising link/website at least once,its almost an inevitable circumstance because phising links appear in form of airdrop links and the phisers are very creative in the aspect of deception,well here are some measures to at least reduce its possibility of occurrence.

Preventive Measures
1》Exercise caution while visiting websites and close any site you feel is malicious immediately.

2》If you mistakenly visit a malicious link,immediately try to change your password and close the link immediately.

3》In cases of popular/already existing websites,make sure you cross check every link properly for validity before you visit it

4》Avoid all website links in your spam folder in your mail.

5》Avoid visiting links that proposes an unrealistic offer e.g, click now and get 1 ethereum for free with just 0.01 ethereum.

General Error In Filling Details
Most attimes ,we make silly mistakes while filling airdrops by unintentionally providing wrong details,e.g where you write @moneyvare instead of @moneyvore as your telegram username and so on.

This little mistake can get you disqualified for an airdrop,here are some tips to prevent such mistakes.

Preventive Measures
1》Presave your frequently used details in a clipboard/memo and copy and paste them when needed rather than typing which is prone to making mistakes.

2》Use the autofill/autosave feature for filling airdrops,its much more easier,convenient and efficient for filling airdrop forms

Failure To Check Email Promptly
A lot of people eventually fill airdrops correctly but fail to qualify for the airdrop distribution,this is usually caused by failure to duely check their email and confirm a confirmation link or failure to provide further details to the airdropping team through their email as its usually requested once in a while.

The solution to this issue is very simple which is prompt checking of your email at least once everyday.
